1OF1 / How it works

Your build.
A plan. A project manager.

We handle the parts research, shops, transport and follow-up so you can focus on the car you want.

Start in the free Garage. When you want our help, prepare a brief and pay the $250 non-refundable planning deposit. That submits your build for consultation, research and a documented blueprint.

The build process

Explore. Plan.
Let us coordinate.

01

Build your starting point

Choose your car, explore upgrades and save your ideas in My Garage. Using the builder is free.

02

Pay $250 and submit

Prepare your brief and accept the non-refundable planning deposit terms. Your brief reaches 1OF1 only after payment is confirmed.

03

Get your build blueprint

We discuss your priorities, research parts and specialists, and prepare an itemized plan with costs, work sequence and open questions. One scoped revision is included.

04

Let us manage the work

Approve a separate management scope and budget. We coordinate the shops, transport, independent checks and return delivery, with updates and decisions in your project workspace.

What your planning deposit covers

Your build blueprint.

  • A consultation about your car, priorities and budget
  • Parts, fitment and specialist research for one vehicle
  • Current pricing, availability and quote conditions
  • An itemized plan with a recommended work sequence
  • Unconfirmed fitment and pending costs clearly identified
  • One revision within the agreed planning scope

Your plan is yours to keep. We confirm the research schedule with you after payment; supplier response times and the scope affect timing.

Required before submission

$250USD / Non-refundable planning deposit

Exploring and saving builds are free. We receive your brief for review only after your payment is confirmed. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown before payment.

Credited toward your 1OF1 management fee if this project proceeds with us. Parts, installation, transport, inspections and ongoing management are separate.

When you approve managed execution

We take care of the coordination.

We agree the management scope and budget before booking. You approve the specialists and any changes to cost or work. We handle scheduling, supplier and shop communication, outbound transport and arrival-condition records.

We verify provider insurance documentation and arrange independent inspection by a qualified specialist within the agreed scope. We coordinate follow-up on identified issues, return transport and your handover records.

For the cars you’re already enjoying

Collection care.

Maintenance appointments, detailing and protection, service records, and preparation for drives and events. One car or several, we help keep ownership organized.

Can I still use the Garage for free?

Yes. Exploring and saving builds are free. Submitting a build to 1OF1 requires a $250 non-refundable planning deposit. Payment comes before our review, consultation and research.

What if I change my mind?

The planning deposit is non-refundable, including if you decide not to proceed with the build. It pays for consultation, research and the documented plan. You review these terms and accept them before checkout. One revision within the planning scope is included; additional research requires a separate agreement.

Does paying authorize work on my car?

No. The deposit opens planning. Parts purchases, installation, transport, inspections and ongoing management need a separate scope, pricing and your approval.

Are the prices and fitment final?

The plan identifies supplier quotes, estimates, validity periods and unresolved questions. Pricing, availability and fitment are confirmed before ordering. Some decisions require the installer to inspect your specific car.

Who performs the work and the checks?

Specialist shops perform installation and mechanical work. Carriers handle transport. We manage coordination and arrange agreed independent checks by a qualified specialist. The management scope names responsibilities and inspection arrangements.

What if my car is not listed?

Use “Add an unlisted car” in the Garage to request catalog support. That is a vehicle-listing request, not a paid build brief, and does not start project research. We confirm the supported route before inviting you to planning.
